This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) discusses the information collected (“Collected Information”) through our Website and how that information is used and shared. You can also learn about choices available to you regarding your personal information and how to access and update that information anytime. Hair & Skin Foundation, LLC is referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.”

By using our Website or accepting our Terms of Use, you (“you”) agree that you have read and understand this Policy and that you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of information as discussed below. If you don’t agree with this Policy, don’t use our Website.

This Policy is incorporated into and made a part of our Terms of Use. We may modify this Policy at any time. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our Website. Using our Website after changes are posted constitutes your agreement with those changes. Material changes will be conspicuously posted on our Website or we will inform you by direct email.

If you’re visiting our Website from outside the U.S., please be aware that Collected Information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the U.S. (where our and our suppliers’ servers and databases are located and operated). We Collect Personal Data and Other Information that You Submit

We use the information we collect from you to provide the most efficient, awesome, and customized experience possible at FoundationSkincare.com.

Personal Data. You can use our Website without sharing personal data. However, we will collect any personal data that you choose to submit to us, which may include your name, email address, mailing and/or physical address, telephone number, and family information (e.g., children’s names, birthdates). If there is someone you would like to invite to use our Website or if you’d like to send a gift to someone, we will ask you for their name, email, and/or physical address to send them information or products on your behalf. We rely on you to request that third party’s permission and by sending such a request, you represent to us that you have that permission to share their information and allow us to use it to fulfill your request. Account and Profile Information. To create an online account, you will need to submit your name, email address, and create a password. The information you submit when first creating an account will be used to populate a profile within that account. You may populate your profile with other types of information that you choose to submit, for example, personal preferences and product wish lists.

Purchases; Payment Information. To purchases products or services online, you will need to submit your address, phone number, and payment information. Online purchases of our products or services must be made by credit or debit card. All credit and debit card information is provided directly to our PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. To make a purchase through our Website, you will need to submit your name and your credit or debit card type, number, expiration date, security code, and billing address, which we will collect. Your payment information may be stored by our payment processor as permitted by PCI-DSS and used for recurring billing.

We don’t directly access, handle, or store your credit or debit card information. Payment by credit or debit card is subject to the approval of the card issuer. We won’t be liable in any way if a card issuer refuses to accept a credit or debit card for any reason. We will maintain a record of your purchases that you make using our Website.

User-Generated Content. You are responsible for any comments, images, data, text, and other content that you create, post, or otherwise submit using our Website (together, “User-Generated Content”). User-Generated Content that you submit is posted on our Website at your own risk (for example, comments that you post on our blog). We can’t guarantee that submitted User-Generated Content won’t be viewed by unauthorized persons. You understand that, even after removal, copies of User-Generated Content that you have submitted may remain viewable in cached and archived pages and may have been copied or stored by other Website users. Email Lists. Our mailing lists are managed via Klaviyo email service. Klaviyo may collect the Internet protocol (“IP”) addresses assigned to your computer, your operating system type, and demographic information about you. Klaviyo also uses cookies and other tracking technologies to collect information about your online activity and uses web beacons to track behavior (for example, which recipients opened emails and when, which recipients clicked on links contained in those emails, and your browser and email client type). Klaviyo only uses personal information collected from or on behalf of Foundation Skincare to provide services at our direction. Klaviyo does not use this information for Klaviyo's own purposes. SMS. We value your privacy and the information you consent to share in relation to our SMS marketing service. We use this information to send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us.

Our website uses cookies to keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your checkout. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

Google Analytics’ Advertising Features. We may enable and implement the following Google Analytics Advertising Features: Remarketing with Google Analytics, Demographics and Interest Reporting, Segments, DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration, and DoubleClick Bid Manager Integration. Remarketing with Analytics uses Google Analytics cookies to serve advertisements to you across the Internet based on your visits to the Website. Demographics and Interest Reporting uses a third-party cookie to collect information about our Website traffic by tracking users across websites and across time, which generates a report for us to better understand our Website users. Segments allows us to isolate and analyze subsets of Website users by sorting our Google Analytics data. DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration and DoubleClick Bid Manager Integration allow us to view, analyze, and create remarketing lists using our DoubleClick Campaign data. For the record, we don’t sell your information to anyone. We won’t use or share Collected Information except as disclosed in this Policy or as permitted by applicable law. Beyond the uses described above, we and our suppliers may use and share Collected Information as described below.

Purpose Collected. We may use and share Collected Information for the purpose it was collected. For example, we may use it to fulfill orders, respond to inquiries and comments, administer your account, help you find the closest retailer, and send you information and communications that you request.

We don’t know what they do nor do we have any control over it, so it’s up to you to read their privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third parties or any third-party websites. This Policy doesn’t apply to any third-party websites or to any personal data or other information that you may provide to third parties.

Access by Children. Our Website isn’t directed at children under 13 years of age. We don’t knowingly collect or use information from children under 13.

Information Security. We don’t guarantee that loss, misuse, or alteration of Collected Information won’t occur, but we have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control. The storage and communication of information can never be completely secure.
